I think one of the reasons I have stopped posting to Tumblr is because whenever I sign in I see that my tumblarity is 0 and it makes me want to leave rather than put effort into internet popularity.

I guess a secondary reason is because I have been too busy learning all of the stuff that is inside of a human body and freaking out on a constant basis about that, although my study methods of “study always” and “never go out” have been paying off so far…

I am trying to decide if I should wait it out in hopes that someone will magically appear to help me sort out more of the crap I don’t want, or if I should suck it up and stop watching Harry Potter movies.

I’m going to admit here that if I were never allowed to knit any other object besides socks for the rest of my life, I might be okay with that. I love knitting socks. I love the tiny little stitches and the pretty yarns. I love the crazy and sensational patterns that you often find, and that for the most part your sock is going to come out the right size. Of course there is an exception to that rule and sometimes I get halfway down a leg, or finish a whole sock, and it is much too big and falls down and I have to frog the whole thing and start completely over, but even then, I love those socks and I love taking them out and starting them fresh in a whole new pattern.

Knitting socks in my opinion is one of the most rewarding projects. It is also the only type of project where I let my inner super tacky dresser go absolutely nuts with color and style, because they’re only socks and if they are embarrassingly loud well then I’ll just wear them under my pants and no one will be the wiser except that I’ll have a smile on my face knowing about my secret super loud socks hiding under my pant leg.
